Regarding Royal Guard: The pose and gold trim do seem to get rid of the "half steel checkerboard" effect nicely, so congrats on an excellent standing frame. Two minor crits: (a) am I the only one who thinks his head is too far to the left? (b) the TC sword hilt blends into the TC wrist... not sure if the hilt should change color or what.

Latest Royal Guard: The new look with the shield and all is nice. I'm a bit iffy about all the gold, but I guess it looks good. His left arm (holding sword) looks very ill-defined, doesn't stand out from the grass background.
Swordsman: The Grunt-style 'crotch-plate' looks better IMO.
