Running Wesnoth on a Linux PDA

Some older versions of Wesnoth were partially ported to the Qtopia/OPIE environments. The status of these ports is presently unknown, as they predated even 1.2.

What has been done

  • use of fixed-point operation instead of floats for image manipulation and such things, since many PDAs do not have a FPU
  • implementation of a theme for the main game screen
  • adaptation of some dialogs to fit in 320x240
  • automatic reduction of bitmap images to gain space
