There are many graphical improvements and the current screenshots on http://www.wesnoth.org are a bit outdated.
We would really appreciate user contributed screenshots.

ouch, Soul Shooter finally didn't get any special as level 3 unit, why?

People in the community throught that the Soul Shooter should get drain. Was the ability considered too powerful by the devs?

And thank you very much for releasing the update. It's very cool. I can't wait to try out all the new features and artwork.

Yes, very nice release, lots of multiplayer improvements, but how can we use those /ban /kick stuff? Is there any in-game console? Thanks.

Those are server commands... only server administrator (that would be me) can run those. Maybe some other people will be given rights to run these commands (requires access to server).

If I host my own game, can't I use them anyway?

If you host your own game you don't need that commands, they are only useful for servers. Of course, if you have your own server, you can use the commands.

But it could be nice to use those commands in the game you host. Server admins won't be watching all the games!

Is this only for Windows and Unix/Linux users? I am unsure how to install for the MAC

I think you have to wait 'til Sithrandel or someone else ports it to Mac.

Commands are for wesnothd (wesnoth server) they are not implemented in client hosted games. They work like this (run in terminal):

echo "msg We are going to reboot the server" > /var/run/wesnothd/socket
echo "kick tigrezno"> /var/run/wesnothd/socket
echo "ban your.ip.goes.here" > /var/run/wesnothd/socket

They have been implemented so that we can react to reports where people are claimed to do bad things when playing.
