Appleide, that replay is unplayable for me (and possibly others). It says "Unable to find unit: Jing Guan." It also seems to thinks it's 1.1.4.

My first 1v1 game ended by turn 10 on account of sheer luck. Funny ending, but a shame it was so short.

P1: FleshPeeler (Northerners)

P2: Elvish_Master_Returns (Rebels)

Played on version 1.0.2

Alright then. In the interest of keeping this thread active:

Musketaquid (P1, Elves) vs. Paterson (P2, Elves) on Meteor Lake
A silly, somewhat carelessly played, but very entertaining match.

Paterson (P1, Northerners) vs. Pietro (P2, Undead) on Charge.

Paterson (P1, Undead) vs. LeGeR (P2, Loyalists) on Blitz.

Paterson (P1, Knalgans) vs. TSR (P2, Loyalists) on Den of Onis.
http://star.walagata.com/w/paterson/Paterson_vs._TSR

The Sourceres (P1, Elves) vs. Paterson (P2, Northerners) on Blitz
An excellent example of the "Northerner Phenomena." (dealing half as much damage as your opponent, taking twice their losses, and still beating them easily.) 8)

Remember, it may help to click fog "on" when watching these replays, as fog traps are often a large factor in the way things play out. (They may not be as obvious otherwise.)

To clarify-

this figure generally breaks down a bit towards the end, as the death rate for enemy units rises, leaving you with a kill/loss ratio that is a bit closer to 2:3.

Still a wonderful phenomena though.

Here's a HOT ONE:

(Rated PG-13 for Dark Beer Language)

By the way, this is one of those much sought after Undead vs. Drake matches.

Becephalus Drakes vs Kollle Loyalists
CHARGE 1.1.8

Interesting and fun game. I really make the most of drake movement here IMO. Game is marred by an early misclick by me and a late fatal misclick by Kollle (although he was probably dead anyway)

Becephalus Dwarves vs JW Orcs

CHARGE 1.1.8

Started off with very good luck, then went sour, then got good again in this close match...rogue once again shows that it is far and away the best leader.

Oh dear me, I almost forgot. Pietro wanted me to post this replay I saved of me vs. him a few days ago here. It was a pretty interesting game. I had a superior kill-loss ratio and he had an income advantage. I eventually got a white mage and a knight but seperated my units, in an attempt to try to steal what I was hoping would be ungaurded villages. That didn't turn out too well. . . >_<
