Wesnoth 1.1.3
Wesnoth 1.1.3 is out!
Wesnoth is heading towards a new stable release (1.2) and this version is just
a preview of what you will get on the upcoming stable release. We need your
feedback and your bug reports to help us making a great Wesnoth 1.2.
Wesnoth 1.1.3 features graphics improvements, like a new impassable
terrain, brand new attack icons and several new animations.
The campaigns have got several fixes and there are new multiplayer maps.
In addition, there are several new sounds and tons of the existing ones have
been improved too.
This version also includes some rebalancing and the usual translation updates.
You can check details at the changelog.

through SourceForge to help us save bandwidth.
devsrv.wesnoth.org:14999 will soon be ready to be used for multiplayer games
Instructions for bug reporting can be found -
http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/ReportingBugs
Debian packages are ready and will be available at mirrors tomorrow. The rest of the packages
will be available soon.

OTOH, time for me to copy Wesnoth's image folder should i feel like changing some of the images back. That shouldn't cause problems, as long as the names are correct, right?.
EDIT: Sucky typos corrected. Welcome back, release announcement thread.

Well, with open-source that's likely to happen when you have many contributers.StVeSa wrote:A complaint; the art isn't very consistent in style.
If you could create enough higher-quality art to replace all of the existing pieces I'm sure the crew would appreciate the contribution as well as the artistic upgrade and uniformity, if that's your aim.
