Game speed
Hello,
I just want to know what parts of code have influence on game speed?
Am I correct if I think that more sides equals slower game?
(I put two extra sides into my scenario and the game became slower.)
Thanks for answers.

Re: Game speed
Side count does not affect speed by itself. It is WML complexity which is most responsible for delays.
Re: Game speed
Delays are due to units needing time to animate their actions.
If you skip AI actions and skip combat, it gets quicker and there’ll be no ‘animation’ delay.
Though sometimes I encounter delays on other UMC campaigns with skip AI and combat option ticked.
Mainly it’s because the unit I have is near invulnerable to damage with the enemy having many units, basically the AI can’t decide what to do because it's not part of what it's expected to deal with .

Re: Game speed
Well, is there any article which summarize tips how to make game smoother?
