This looks alot better with overlaying terrains, nice.

It looks slightyly wierd crossing over the ice with grassland edges but I figure no one really paves a road on ice anyway so it might not be a necessary transition :P

Nice work I like them.

Thanks for the good feedback. I agree it probably will look better with an extra frame at the end and I made the one with the nail jump faster.

The problem with this is Units overlay the terrain, Tree's do not cover them and it would be wierd if the mist did. Since units and trees are a different scale I don't think it's a good idea.

I think white makes least sense. When you chat it makes you look like an observer, it is really hard to tell who is playing that side if they change name of their leader. I'd like this replaced with black rather then pink. Black would be great. I think pink is too ;)

The crusted lava seems more defined then any of the other Wesnoth terrains. It seems to stand ut almost as much as units.

It looks quite nice just not sure I think it fit together well with the other wesnoth terrain I've seen.

This game is an abstraction to use many different types of terrain in a smaller space then would normally be required. This provides strategic points when you choose where to put your units and where to line up your defence/offence. If companies or squads were used it'd be much harder to distinguish...

Consider what makes a unit identifiable when stoned or to someone who is color-blind. I don't see how this is relevant at all... If you compare the images of the elf archer he posted you can clearly see it is the same unit type even without colors, the fixed version is much easier to tell it is fem...
