Out of curiousity: What happens if an enemy is standing on the given coordinates? Does the unit stop before the enemy or what?

As mentioned before, you can change the cfg or use debug mode, but it is better not to cheat.
The turn limit is part of the scenario's challenge. If you have problems dealing with it, play at an easier difficulty or change your strategy.

Just to clarify Tom of Wesnoth: Invasion of Eliador is one of the most complex campaigns concerning the WML code. (just have a look at it and then rethink about taking it over )

Loyalists can be beaten with every faction, it depends on the player. (and the player's luck)

Uhm...you usually don't download a commercial game. And some people pay for downloads.

Yes, there is one in SotBE, and there is the bigmap scenario in Saving Elensefar.

Those are no mainline campaigns, you have to download them from the campaign server.
