Ok, here's an easier version. BTW, thanks for the feedback, both of you. More feedback: playing on easy, the Lich's claw is trivial (but that's OK for the first scenario on easy), the eye is not hard but enjoyable, and the spider is tough (but not *too* tough. 0.8.2 build fixes problem

Still don't know what the problem *was* :P but it has not reoccured with the new 0.8.2 version.

Problem details

Caches deleted (again). Same problem:

After selecting campaign and difficulty level, I get a dialogue box "The game could not be loaded: load_game_failed: Map not found.

Then back to Wesnoth initial menu.

Still no map - bug

Still unable to open this (OS X, 0.8 but also 0.8.1) - 'map not found' error. Is thre, in fact, some alteration of directory structure needed other than putting everything into 'campigns' as is?

OK - so being cave-wall-enclosed actually makes the duel trivial: recruit the wall guards, who are impervious and have ranged fire, and pick off the lich. But that's all kinda silly. Plus: (i) some of the undead units actually managed to escape the walls on two of the turns (for no apparent reason);...

1. The dialogue at the end of 'attack on weldyn' is weird both becaue it seems to be coming from random people, and because it does not flow.

2. 'The duel' puts Gweddry into a cave wall area with no exit - right??

No exit door?

This scenario worked for me previously (0.8.0); in 0.8.1, though, there does not seem to be a door between the 'exit' chamber and the outside world.

Am I missing some requisite, or is this in fact a bug?

[Otherwise, this level now seems appropriately balanced, if tedious!]

Map problem

OK, what am I missing? Starting up this campaign gets me the error message 'load_game_failed: map not found' . I tried sticking the maps into a folder named Delfadors_Memoirs, rather than just being loose in maps folder, but that didn't help..

..where should they be?
