Strong and resiliant would be better if they were percentage gains like 15% extra damage and 15% damage resistance respectively. I don't think healers and archers are cost effective for small maps like this. Better just to buy piles of fighters. I brought archers though hehe.

10 turns. Used cavalry as a shield and walked derf up to fireball the enemy leader. Probably pretty lucky he survived though. Should be able to do it using the same tactic with spearmen in 12 turns or so I think and get a better score.

I don't think horsemen are very cost effective in fights. They're average in straight fights and charge is only an advantage against units with low hp or a weak melee attack. Same with fencers, their high defence and movement doesn't really compensate for an effective hp of 18 or so which means any ...

I managed to grind my way through using mass spearman. The elves actually beat the guy in the southwest by themselves so maybe that helped a bit as well hehe.
