Re: where do you rate yourself as a Wesnoth player?
Probably 6.5.
But when was the last time I played... Anyways, I'm better with MP than vs the AI in scenarios/campaigns settings.

Re: The User Art Topic
The thing with the human anatomy is that it's more "art" than science; the normal ranges for females/males overlap, but the middle point (average/mode/median) is wider for women than men.
This is definitely key.Maybe it just depends upon the context.

Re: The User Art Topic
Odd artistic observation relevant to animation - we all probably know the stereotypical "girly" walk or jog, with the hands much further away from the trunk of the body than the elbows. As compared with the forearms and upper-arms in a direct line, which is considered manly. I've always w...

Re: What are you reading right now?
Not related to any books in particular.
But discovering Google Reader has just given me an infusion of daily reading in overdrive from the increased number of sites I can now follow!

Re: What are you reading right now?
I've just finished reading "Crusades - The Illustrated History". A great book, regardless of your own personal perspective.

Re: What are you reading right now?
I've just finished Jeremy Black's "War: An Illustrated World History". A very interested read, as there's a lot of content in a small book. It talks about the history of war from classical to modern times, the technological and military science development, as well as the socioeconomic fac...

Re: Video Replays - Link them Here!
I know that I haven't observed much matches, and even less played since I don't know when, but I'd like to inform that I've moved all of my old Vimeo replay vids up to Youtube , and added one new vid. This was after Vimeo decided to not allow gaming vids on their servers. I'd also like to remind eve...

They are, as the same userdata directory is used.oesis wrote: anakayub: You could copy and paste wesnoth but then you would have to deal with more icons, and I don't think addons or saves would be synchronized between the 2 wesnoths.

Re: Multiple Wesnoth on Mac
Are you sure? I can open 2 just fine. Just make a separate copy. This was since I played Wesnoth, and I just tested with 1.7.5. :hmm: The only issue is if you're trying to log in into the server, in which the server will notify others of the fact that "anakayub1" and "anakayub2" ...

Re: Creating a server on a mac
What most people don't get is that you need to manually close the server via Activity Monitor as it runs in the background , or else this happens when you try to open the server with another version: You only need to manually close the server if you started it manually. When you start it from the m...

Re: Creating a server on a mac
Sorry but I'm unable to reproduce the "wrong version" error (but I'm on 1.6.4) by launching. What I think is the problem is that you have opened the servers of multiple versions when trying to "solve this problem". Thus you opened the server of another version while trying to con...

Re: Creating a server on a mac
There is already a wesnoth server running or some other program is using port 15000 which seems pretty unlikely. I've not played with the latest version of the server, but you may try to look in activity monitor. Look for wesnothd/MP Server, and quit that. Then retry launching the server. You might...

Campaigns What is your most favorite mainline campaign? Why? I'm not an SP campaign player. What is your least favorite mainline campaign? Why? I'm not an SP campaign player. What is your most favorite add-on campaign? Why? World Conquest. Not much of a plot, but the cooperation and "power-ups&...
