So, I guess I have some editing to do! I hope to figure out the new WML and get it up on the campaign server soon.
Did you wmllint it first?

Well, it turns out that all of those problems were caused by the fact that the tag name is now id, and not description, and that was easy enough to fix.

I have uploaded it, but there is basically no changes between 1.4 and 1.6
The AI does seem to fight a bit stupider, but it doesn't matter.
There is a few other things I have to change to it, as well.
But as it is, it is as it should be.

I also want to see any replays of people who have beaten it.

right here's a replay. beat it on my first try. 10 losses 32 kills 5 advancements. didnt get to use my red mage in the end *so sad* computer did seem to be a bit stupid. i really liked how you did the dialogue, it was so simple... yet so refreshing.

Edit: although my ending approach was a little aggressive because i knew it was only 1 scenario.

It's a pretty fun scenario (even if I don't think it's terribly hard). I played it earlier on 1.4.x and it felt a little anticlimactic after the bridge but this time it wasn't so bad.

10 recruits, 4 losses (2 on the leader), 2 advancements, 27 kills (iirc). Could have had more losses with a little worse luck, but I think could also have played a lot better...

One thing I just noticed is that the AI wasn't recruiting any assassins. Apparently, its usage tag has been changed, so I added "mixed fighter to the recruitment pattern. I might change the aggression/caution settings, as well.

The AI is definitely not playing as well under 1.6, but I don't actually know what it is.

Just played the scenario and that bridge is brutal, forces you to think.

I ended up using a fencer, and archers on the first turn, then two horsemen on the second. Once i got to the bridge i recruited some Heavy Infantryman. Turn 23, he recruited and started to flee...Finished it on the last turn, leadership is the key to victory!

Overall, really short campaign but very challenging :)

Running 1.8.5 in case you were wondering.

Heeey, this still exists? Cool. First played it January '09, and couldn't get past the bridge!

It was a fun scenario (that's why it's a short campaign BrackDiesel :P ) and I'd love to play it again.
Will it be released to the 1.9 server eventually? (Looks like the maintainer vanished into thin air...)

If, and presumably, not, I'd appreciate a tarball or a zip or something.

*Blows off some dust.*

I enjoyed this scenario back in the day, and saw that someone had kept it going on to 1.10. I ported it over to 1.11.

Thanks for porting this. It's an enjoyable scenario.

A few things:
In the time over event in should be "court martial"
In the enemies defeated dialog it should be "mobilize" (unless you're going for British English here)
Also there, Hongfen says "sir" in mid-sentence, where elsewhere he says "Sir"
Objectives are slightly unclear. They seem to imply that every enemy unit needs to be eliminated, but victory occurs on enemy leader death. This could be fixed either by changing the objectives or making it so you have to kill every enemy unit.

Nice Scenario.
Finished it in the last round, already in the orcs turn.
And nice to see how graphics improved since 1.8
Try out the dark board theme.

Thank you for your review. The map has been the same since 1.8. Your comment should go to the terrain graphic developers.

At last I was able to finish this novice level scenario :D I know this is an old add-on, still it is very unique comparing to other campaigns / scenarios. Thanks for maintaining it!
