(1) What difficulty levels and what version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
medium 1.7.6

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
1 - moved directly to the signpost; wasn't a hard choice since I started without castle/keep

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
clear

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
I'm a bit surprised why a large part of the elves would follow the "counsil slayer" as supreme leader. Even the ones livling together with Kalenz in the same forest for years.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
none

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
4 - not much to do, but it's nice to move through green forests after all the snow; also seems more to be a story scenario then a fight scenario; there is no point to fight; the XP you would get is nothing compared to the early finish gold

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
rescue some other "traitors" been taken prisoner

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
none, perhaps if I hadn't moved straight to the signpost

(1) What difficulty levels and what version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
Medium 1.8.0

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
The easiest scenario I have EVER played, in any campaign.

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Crystal clear.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
It was fine, but:
- it would be nice if my allies had said anything when the enemies came
- no explanation how and why Landar got so many followers. He drank that potion, but the other elves didn't, so why were they so quick and willing to follow him?

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
None.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
1 (2 at most) The easiest, and thus the most boring scenario I have seen to date. maybe I was just lucky that the souther enemy recruited 5 level 2 fighters and 1 level 1 archer. If he had recruited archers (regardless of level) things may have been different

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
Two changes:
1) As already mentioned it would be nice to have a better explanation how Landar got so many elves to follow him without question, even going so far as to turn on other elves. Especially how he got MY shamans to join him. I mean, the shamans refused to help with killing the Saurians. How come they have no problem with following the man that is the main reason for the Saurian slaughter? How come they are willing to fight their brothers and sisters when they refused to fight the Saurians?
2) Have a group of elves escort Kalenz and Cleodil to the signpost. Maybe they come with the Scout that delivers the warning, or maybe once the message is delivered they are sent from the two nearby keeps. And then the player must finish the mission with these limited forces. In addition those troops cannot be recalled in the next mission because they stay behind to slow down any pursuers

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
No, not even bad luck.
You are a Dark Adept: You immerse yourself in the dark arts... potentially with great rewards...

(1) What difficulty levels and what version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
hard; 1.8.2

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
1

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Signpost, run, clear.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
I was a little confused. This is a big change, and I didn't realize that the middle elves were on my side at first, despite their blue dots. I was so confused that I went to the Wiki to read about this scenario, and then I was more confused because it was talking about recruiting, which I didn't see how to do.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Needed mister gift scout to provide me some ZOC screening for Kalenz to reach the signpost on turn 3.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
1

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
Start Kalenz way higher on the map, and maybe it would be as hard as most of the other scenarios in this campaign. It would be cool if to beat the scenario you needed to send Cleodil and Alduinas off in another direction as a distraction.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
No.

(1) What difficulty levels and what version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?

1.8.3, Medium

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)

1

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?

Clear. Run to signpost.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?

Clear enough.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?

Believing it is as easy as it seems.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)

1

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?

This scenario now seems to be just filler. So, just make it filler.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?

No.

Something has happened to this scenario since earlier versions. The wiki talks about recruiting, but there is no recruiting as you have no fort. The only challenge is using your scout as ZoC fodder, otherwise it's a walk in the woods.

Having played this a few times now debugging the Northern Battle I noted a couple things:

Most of the time, elves fight each other. For some reason this didn't happen the first time I played (I think I made the scout enough of a target they were attracted to him instead of each other). So I take this back, the scenario serves as a good introduction to elf-on-elf civil war to come.

You don't even need the scout, hug the left side and you'll be beyond read of southern recruits (unless they get a quick recruit?).

(1) What difficulty levels and what version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
Hard, version 1.8.2

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
1, I just followed the objective and ran Kalenz to the bottom left corner, finished on turn 3 without a fight (just saw the western elves turn traitor)

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Clear.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
The story is good, I like the idea of elves going at each other and I like how your western ally turns against you.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
No challenges whatsoever.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
3, refreshingly easy and moves the story further, but could have been made at least a slight challenge.

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
Redesign the map a bit - give Kalenz a few extra units and place a few enemy units around the signpost - that way Kalenz has to fight his way through and can't just dash away on turn 3. Have your ally do his best to help you push through while you are both attacked from north by the traitor and south by the enemy.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
Nope.
