Re: Scenario Review - EI: Two Paths

Post by Inky »

(1) Level and version? Hard, 1.12.4, 222 starting gold
(2) Difficult? (1-10) 2 (killed orc leader). It's laughably easy if you saved all the knights from Mal Ravanal's Capital. Though I'm sure it's challenge if you don't have the knights, as you'd have to meet the orcs during the night.
(3) Objectives? Clear.
(4) Dialog? Fine.
(5) Challenges? None with my huge knight army.
(6) Fun? (1-10) 7
(7) Changes? -
(8) Restarts? None.

Recalled the 5 knights + paladin from Mal Ravanal's capital and simply ran for the orc keep. Demolished his army during the afternoon. He comes out of his keep so I steal his keep and stay an extra turn to get a bit more experience. Level Owaec by giving him the kill on the orc leader.

Finished turn 5/16

(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on?

- 1.14.5, Easy

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)

- 4

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?

- Easy, pick which leader you'll kill

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?

- Not bad, I like how if the enemies manage to kill Gweddry, either of them will backstab the other one.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?

- None, really

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)

- 6

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?

- Go with killing both enemy leaders, then decide where you'd go (I killed orc leader). Plus I think that Dacyn should keep it quiet where to go

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
None.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
5 (Same pattern, choose a path)

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
A triangle fight can be fun, but making the enemy having preference in targeting me before between them and making them stronger because right now they're very weak.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
gg no res.

(9) About the replay.
Just enjoyed this scenario to level up units. Just my basic start recruiting new units in case of sacrifice needs and recalled some strong ones.
I choose going against the undead since I have more advantage against them
