(1) Medium, 1.17
(2) Easy (2), I used this to exp my lv1's (didn't even bother to recall the lv2 Heavy Infantry) and still won on Turn 9/22
(3) Very clear
(4) The assassin was cool. I'm still wanting to know more about the main characters.
(5) Keeping up to pace with the elves, and not letting them get all kills
(6) Normal, 5
(7) A bit more powerful opponent, here I could see on turn 1 that the enemy really poses no threat.

(1) Hard 1.4
(2) Difficulty: 4 out of 10
(3) Game objectives clear?
It wasn't clear at all that I had to keep the elf leader from dying. Why should we? (there needs to be some reason) As it is, the dude wouldn't come with us anyway, and it's not like we kept the dwarf dude from utter death.
(4) Storyline, dialogue clear?
Meh, fine. See below.
(5) Major Challenges?
As stated, the first time I played through, the assassin appeared unexpectedly next to the ELVEN leader. I was like "huh? okay whatever," but then the elven leader made a stupid attack and got killed. turns out that was a victory objective. lame. other than that,
(6) How fun: 8 out of 10.

This was by far the most fun scenario of the campaign so far. I even logged in just to post about it. At first, I was like "okay, kill all enemy leaders," and then "wtF are the [censored] elves suiciding like that for?," at the same time I was setting up a defensive wall to withstand the night. And then I noticed that (and this is on my first play through) those handful of dumb suicidal elves lured ALL of the orcs far enough away that my line of HI/mages/spearmen had a clear shot at the enemy leader. So I took it. Fun, easy, and most of all, fun.

The first map in a while that felt like actual strategy. So anyway, kudos for that. But a big :( for requiring the elf leader to live (on the second reload, he destroyed the assassin, anyway).

(7) Like most all of the wesnoth campaign levels I have played so far, I would make changes in the dialogue and the feel of the game. Add some drama to the damn thing. Not "oh well I think you're right or wrong, very well, let's kill all enemy leaders" every fricking level.

But for this specific level, I want to know why we should bother to keep tabs on Señor Elf Captain, if at all.

1. medium 1.6.5
2. 3.. so easy after the first three, but it's a relaxing break
3. very clear
4. uninteresting really. the orcs just come out of nowhere, which I have seen so many times in campaign scenarios
5. none there, but the elves kept on stealing my xp
6. 4... kind of boring, really. but it's ok.
7. make the orcs stronger

(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on?
challenging; 1.8.3

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
2

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Clear.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
It seems forced.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
The only real challenges are keeping every unit alive, leveling units, and finishing quickly to get extra gold. The first time I played it, an elf wounded the enemy leader first, and the leader ran to the village at the board edge. With only 3 adjacent hexes and an elf in one of them, it took a while to kill him. I replayed the scenario and killed him with ease on turn 9, though it would be difficult to do it any earlier.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
4

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
I agree with a post above that we need to have some reason that we must save the elf leader when we let the dwarf leader die in the tunnels. When I saw that dwarf leader, I double checked the objectives, so, you know, we are always thinking about whether we need to save allied leaders.

Sometimes it felt like there are some clashes between 'high/old' language style and contemporary 'idioms' (though, I'm not english native speaker)

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
1.9.8, top difficulty, no reloads

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
probably 2, I had more starting gold than the Orc, plus an ally...

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
clear

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
Can't take serious an initial assassin talk... look at "Son of the Black Eye" campaign to get a feeling of a cool orcish attitude/language.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
none

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
below average

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
make it tougher (I wonder how easy it is at lower levels?), also see p.4

(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on?

- 1.14.5, Easy

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)

- 4

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?

- Clear, defeat the orcish warrior

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?

- Not bad, reminds me on previous campaigns relying on orcs being main enemy

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?

- Killing the orcish assassin, took me a while till I beated him in one turn

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)

- 5

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?

- Like how I said in second scenario, if there was a chance a dwarf gives you a loyal unit, then how about elvish ranger giving you one loyal elvish unit? Like scout, fighter or archer? I think that'd make this campaign interesting.
