(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
1.10.2 Triton (difficult) – no reloads

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
6/10

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Clear.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
I liked it. And the new pet should be quite useful.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Not losing any high-level units. Serpents hit hard and if your entanglers refuse to do their job you are screwed.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
5/10 Interesting opponent's unit composition makes it okay.

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
The map doesn't offer you much tactical choices. In the end it's just a frontal, static slug fest in the center. This is exacerbated by the fact that serpents and cuttle fishs can outrun you, therefore retreating is pointless, so it's even less dynamic. It's a short scenario, not bad, not by any means. Just a little bit vanilla.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
Bad hitrolls during the most important turns caused heavy casualties. My third run was successful, no units lost.

(1) Level, version, and gold? Nightmare, 1.11.15, 253 starting gold.
(2) Difficult? (1-10) 7.
(3) Objectives? Clear.
(4) Dialog? Fine.
(5) Challenges? After reading the walkthrough and the above reviews, I was suitably paranoid. The new image of the Sea Serpent also scared me. So, I played conservatively and patiently, and given that, it wasn't difficult. I held a line against the initial assault, then advanced rapidly after it broke. Meanwhile, Keshan and some escorts piddled around the northern pass and Citizens grabbed villages to distract the enemy. I didn't lose anyone higher than L1.
(6) Fun? (1-10) 9.
(7) Changes? I don't think you need to change anything. For players who are handicapped in some way (e.g., less starting gold), it will still be a big challenge. There was one point where basically all my units were wounded, and I was close to having major problems, so I think it's balanced well. The tension level was very high.
(8) Restarts? None. I won the first time, with no save-reloads here or anytime previous in the campaign.

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
1.10.4, Triton/difficult, 202 starting gold

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
6 - It's hard to kill the leader on land while he is constantly recruiting; however this scenario is not as difficult as it looks since the leader is unable to use most of his gold.

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Clear.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
I loved the dialog here; it was very amusing. Also, can you tell that I absolutely love Inky the cuttlefish?

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Sea serpents at night; you have to hope your slow works or they miss.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
7 - pretty fun

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
The difficulty shouldn't depend so much on what the enemy decides to recruit (e.g. bat vs. serpent). Maybe make the recruit pattern for bats fixed?

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
None.

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
1.10.7 - Normal
(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
8 - You have to watch out for the Sea Snakes but with some Entanglers, they are pretty tame. But still: The masses the enemy recruits can get you over time - especially with their poison.
(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Very clear.
(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
I loved the cuttlefish deal at the end. It had something special. Otherwise it's just a 1v1.
(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Surviving the onslaught and concentrating on moving forward.
(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
8 - Was a good mixture of challenge and fun.
(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
Don't know.
(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
Once again Cylanna died because I used her too aggressively. So I went back two turns and chose a more secure route.

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? Medium,Wesnoth 1.10.5, iOS 1.0.4 iPad ver (replay uploads downloads n/a)
(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 9
(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives? Clear
(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario? clear.
(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario? Killing the sea serpants and cuttle fish. They were strong and kept poisoning everyone around them, but the Diviners kept removing it and healing each other. Tried to fight at night and got my butt kicked. Keeping my Drake Flare alive was a challenge. He cannot move fast over water and they really went for him.
(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10) very fun. This is becoming my favorite campaign.
(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun? None
(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario? When I tried to fight at night Kai got killed. The next time I retreated to the northeast corner at sunset. The island and rocks offer protection at night. Sent citizens to the other areas to distract the enemy until morning. Then slowly moved forward. It took 3 of my Mermaid Diviners to kill each big green sea serpent. Finished the scenario with 5 Mermaid Diviners, 2 Tritons (one with the storm sword), an Entangler and Kai at level 3. Flat broke but happy.

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
Difficult (Triton), wesnoth 1.12.4
249 starting gold

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
6

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Perfect

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
Great

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
I'm not familiar with sea creatures so I played too defensively. Overall it was pretty straightforward, just run during the night and attack during the day, using illumination + leadership and citizen fodder and stuff. At least I got to use some fighters due to the sea creatures' impact resistance.
The shortage of villages was also an issue, I didn't have much carryover because some units promoted and started demanding more gold.
Apparently I had really good luck in this scenario but I don't think it really mattered.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
7, pretty basic but the enemies are unusual and the basic gameplay of this campaign is still relatively involved.

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
Nothing

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
No

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?

7, unusual enemies. And a cuttlefish.

- 1.14.5, Normal

- 8

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?

- Clear

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?

- Very interesting. The idea of fighting sea monsters on the lone islands is a pretty original concept. This shows why open sea can be VERY dangerous

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?

- Doing my best to avoid those level 3 serpents. Hard to kill!

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)

- 8

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?

- It's good as it is, no changes here

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?

- No

Clear, funny

Sea Serpents can deal a lot of damage, but then you are fighting them in water with a 50% to 70% defensive bonus depending of the depth of the water, so it isn't really difficult.

The enemy has a lot of money and an unexplainable +23 money for turn even without villages, but he has only two keep squares to call for new recruits, so he cannot build his army quick enough to stop my attack. One or two more squares for the enemy keep would come in handy.
