Can the preferences file be relocated?

Post by Atreides »

I'm using debian 9 and have 1.14 and 1.17 installed via flatpak. The data-paths are in separate 1.14 and 1.17 dirs but the preferences file is being shared by both!

I looked through the possible command line options and it seems I can set the data-path and userdata-path but not the preferences path.

I'm guessing if I could specify where flatpak installed the beta I could separate them but I'm not sure that is possible with flatpak. I'd rather move the beta's prefs file.

There's a third command-line option, the --userconfig-dir.
