another map- SOS

Post by F8 Binds... »

After creating this map, I recognized a pattern of dirt road combined with the middle island creating the term SOS, or "Save our ship". Although not relevant to the map, it became the name of the map.

*2v2- North vs South- Allies share a castle.
*My goal was to create a valuable center island, but make it so it is hard to access and easily defended. Capturing can result in victory. Due to the impassable terrain in the center, most fighting results on the outer edges.

Any balancing issues (too much hills, not enough forest, ___ faction is too strong, player one advantage is too great because ___) let me know about. Any compliments are welcomed as well. Complaints will be dubbed out- just constructive criticism. Here's the map- download it and enjoy!

Hm, perhapss too much sand in the center? Isn't it a bit too advantageous for drakes there?

nice map. you've improved a lot. maybe needs to break up that sand with a couple more of water hexes? hard to say without trying it out, though.
