Sorry. The code for the latest 1.10 version was lost, and 1.14 was mostly redone from scratch.

Can you please tell us, how did it work? AFAIK, current engine only supports 50% and 100% zooms - was it a switch between these two on pinch, or did it work some other way?

In iPhone version, not sure. It's ancient, and the latest iOS-specific changes in it were lost.
