Re: ipad question!
Hello, and welcome to the forums!
You can enter user command from an in-game menu: Actions - Enter user command.
Don't have the iPad with me, but IIRC the chat command is somewhere there too.

Re: How to Upload/download replays on iPad/ iPhone
Hello.
Sadly, it's not possible currently, unless your deice is jailbroken. There's a plan for cloud sync, but no ETA - there are tasks with much higher priority.
Update: I may have found a quick way to sync. Let me try.

Re: iOS support thread
Sadly, I cannot. It's an Apple limitation 8(
I could make 14.7.1, 14.7.2 etc, but it would mess things up on a larger scale.
1.14.5 took 2 months, 1.14.6 took 5 months, 1.14.7 took 2 months. I would expect 2-4 months.
We can do something else. Let me PM you.

Re: iOS support thread
Hello, sorry for slow answer. I fixed the compilation problem and can still release arm7 versions. Due to Apple restrictions, we cannot have a 4-digit versions like 1.14.7.1, so you will get an update with the next Wesnoth version. Once again, are you experiencing a constant crashes now or was it in...

Re: iOS support thread
Crash reports can be enabled in Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics & Usage, and select Automatically Send or Don't Send (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42660677/how-do-my-users-opt-in-to-itunesconnect-crashes). I will look into the issue. I remember doing something about latest Apple requirem...

Re: Support for Smart Keyboard
Hello,
Sadly, the keyboard support in our application framework (SDL2) is only available when an input field is active.
There's even no reliable way to determine if the keyboard is present.
Some day, we might do it with some hackery. Currently, it won't work other than in input fields.

Re: iOS support thread
Hi. Sorry for your experience. Can you please go in a bit more detail? How it doesn’t update? Can you please turn on a crash data sharing in your iOS settings, in order for us to receive crash report? Sadly, the refund process is not under our control, it’s completely on Apple side. It needs to be r...

Re: Error before launching the game on Mac
Welcome to the forums! Indeed, it’s an iOS forum. While the thread is being moved, can you please run a terminal and start the app from the terminal, like /Applications/The Battle for Wesnoth/MacOS/wesnoth and post the output? Enabling error reporting in MacOS and posting a crash dump would also hel...

Re: Bug in IOS for multiplayer
It would, thanks.
I'm building an update right now, though, so maybe let's try it with a new version, when it goes through the review in a couple of days.

It's in "Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics & Usage", "Share With App Developers" checkbox. source: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202100. By the way, are you playing iPhone or iPad version? iPhone is terribly outdated and crashes more often. I don't see a frequent crashes i...

Re: Bug in IOS for multiplayer
Hello, and welcome to the forums!
Sorry for the problem.
Do you have iOS bug reporting enabled? It would let me examine the crashes.
I’m planning to finally make update in a week, this may help it too.

Re: Ios debug?
I suddenly understood that it's about iPhone version, which is based on 1.10. 1.14 does have a main menu item that pops up the console. The work on 1.10 is stalled, because it's going to be replaced with much newer 1.14, and work on 1.14 stalled, well, because. I made some progress in making 1.14 ru...
