I just downloaded version 0.7.8 and was replaying Ford of Abez. I was playing in Easy mode before, but with the changes, the enemies are incredibly stupid! I used Gwiti for most of the killing. He's the most powerful unit I've got. At the end, I needed some heavy save/reload usage.

There are lots of free games that use lots of copyright infringments on The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, and I don't think one more could hurt. T.O.M.E, for instance.

I have Mac OS 10.3. How do I get 0.7.8? I've downloaded it in "Downloads" on this site, but there's no application or obvious way to get one.

Every time I start Gryphon Mountain (easy difficulty), no matter what I do, the Mother Gryphon flies out and gets killed by the enemy cavalry. To add injury to insult, I don't get her eggs! That's even when I move my Elvish Archer to the keep with the eggs in it. Reaching the keep should be the goal...
