Great guide, thank you very much. I was thinking to join the ladder but didn´t think I have the skill required. This guide will help to understand.

Re: Dunefolk(previously Khalifate) race description
If people want to play Khalifate they would play them regardless where the faction is. For story purpose better is to remove the khalifate from the mainline factions. We have human faction with loyalist, so Kahifate just look like another human faction different from the original only in culture. Wh...

Re: Dunefolk(previously Khalifate) race description
That is s good proposal from cold steel. Khalifate does not fit with fantasy team other faction belong too. It just doesn't.

Re: Tips and Strategies about playing defensive
There are some good ideas about defending/defensive play in this post. Recently I tend to play sword and shield tactics. After reading some great book of Napeleon tactics I was impresed with defeat in detail concept and tried to implement this tactics in wesnoth. What I done is basically separate th...

Re: Games discussion
Distant World Univers (Universe being the latest expansion) is the game I enjoy the most. I am playing it for a year now, and never get tired. That game is a gem. Certainly the best 4x space strategy game ever. I played Gal civ, Endless space, sins of the solar empire...and none is even close to DW.

Re: Legend of Far North:SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews
Interesting campaign, but it really misses caracter portraits. It is hard to blend with the story with Orc leader having image of human historical character.

Re: Khalifate Era
I dont think that Kalifate is offending name, it is like we call Vatican to be offending name, considering the fact that Kalifate is Kalifate is an equivalent to Vatican in Islamic fate. On the other hand, I do not think that Kalifate will blend together with other factions of Wesnoth. If one factio...

Re: Dirty Words like "sh*t" in unit names
When you try to regulate things that are offensive to someone you are doing Sizif work. At the moment in Croatia there is rather strong movement of some catholic Christian organization that are trying to remove Darwin/evolution/sexuality from school books because for them they are offensive. Similar...

Re: Count Kromire
Last scenario is really hard with so many powerful enemy units. Velamoi did not helped either. When he appeared as final enemy, I was so annoyed with his continuous treachery that I immediately detached some units to punish him for the last time hoping that the rest of my forces would be enough to s...

I just started playing the scenario: Battling the lions. Enemy has huge forces, somewhere around 2300 gold, while I have 500. David vs Goliath

Re: Trolls
I would envision Trolls as ancient race that lived deep in the mountains for ages, rarely going away from they territory and fiercely defending it. Their bond with nature is similar to the one of the elves, with difference being that elves cherish forests, plants and life in general while Trolls do ...

Re: Salt Wars (EoFM campaign)
I already downloaded Panther lords, and will play it after I finish Salt campaign - which I have to restart because my leader got killed in attempt to disengage from the fight with caravan guards. Usually I would just restart the scenario, but this time I will start new campaign and try to play a li...
