This isn't any new release, just dropping by to the say that the current version has been ported to 1.16.x

amazingly, this add-on is officially 12 years old as of 2021.

Announcement:

War of Legends has been ported to 1.16.x as of today. As for the campaigns, they are either under going the porting process or will receive the porting procedures in due time.

I have started my GRE/GMAT exam preparations so I shall be a bit busy for the next 2-3 months or so.

Isn't "de-capturing" a village just a special case of a village capture event? So, maybe it also fires that event? decapping a village is just another capture event, AFAIK. Reduced Stymphalian level from 2 to 1. Since player XP is now harder to acquire, moved harvest count up from 15 to 2...

Are you sure that name is intended?
I am assuming it is, since I have seen this "typo" in all three campaigns and seeing the persistence, I just accepted it.
