Re: Invasion from the Unknown 2.1.13 [Wesnoth 1.14.x & 1.15.12+]
Hi. I think I found a bug in the «Over the sands» mission: when I kill the human boss (Garren), the condition is not validated. There's also a lua message about missing sound track: 20211008 00:07:48 error scripting/lua: ~add-ons/Invasion_from_the_Unknown/Naia/lua/patch.lua:48: Error: Attempted to a...

Re: older ones all gone?
What you mean with "when I was black" ? You passed a bad period, changed literally skin color, or what ? None of the above. They just meant... and when I was back Simple as that. That. And probably a bit drunk when writing it, too. Made me ashamed to even log in via wesnoth's game. ...

Re: Mount & Blade : Battle for Wesnoth
I don't think about myself about "being part of the community" because, basically, I'm just a random player and whinner. But I may give some help (as a dev, and thus **IANAL** (means **I AM NOT A damn LAWYER**) on GPL stuff: This licence is unclear because it relies on technical limitation...

Re: older ones all gone?
Oh, sorry, I forgot an *important* thing. You removed players the ability to play several games at a time. Or to just watch if there are games while waiting for people to join.

Ah, sorry, I told about 50? It's like 20 players right now, less than the 1.11 server...

older ones all gone?
Hello? Is there is still someone here? . . . Ah. I guess the place is somehow desert now. Can't say I helped it stay alive, I only played here, years afters years afters years, inviting friends to play. Was a nice game. Thanks for the fish. On a less dramatic tone, I really meant what I said. Check ...

site crash
Hello. I was updating my voidlinux installation, and noticed a wesnoth's update. Willing to know more about that, even if I no longer plays a lot, I tried to use firefox (v 60.6.1, it's the "long-term support" (I suppose not breaking stuff every 3 month is long term in webdev...)) to check...

Legend of Wesmere: AI's side controlled by player & other
Hello. I am not sure if this is a bug or intended, but on LoW from wesnoth 1.12.16 (from Debian's backports) the player have control over a lot of sides, that I think should be controlled by AI. It happens in scenarios n° 3, 7, and 12 at least (for now, I didn't played other ones, and tbh, I think I...

measurement of distance between tiles
Hello. I recently had the idea to implement a ruler tool to measure the distance between 2 tiles, including when it's another player's turn to play. This is one of the uses I have for current planning mode, but it's more a workaround than a true solution: * it can't be used to measure the real dista...

Re: Heavy repository
actually think that, if it is going to be done, the best time would be just before a 1.14 release; that way, the 1.14 stable branch would get the benefit of the split as well. I don't even speak about when, I just try to convince your team to do it. Time point is a question which is not worth think...

Re: Heavy repository
If the single clone without more steps or uncommon clone options is mandatory (as history conservation) then I doubt that there is a solution. As I said, "git subtree --split" moves the content of the subtree at the root of the git repo of it's branch, so I do not see how using several bra...

Re: Heavy repository
Hmm, most of the talk until now revolved around the use of "git submodule". I never mentioned it, I know how annoying it is to use submodules. Plus, it would not have actually split the repo, it would have implied to remove history by starting a completely new repo, which is obviously not...

Re: Heavy repository
Just for information, I just did a small try to give translations and campaigns their own repository (without for now removing). It seems the procedure is quite easy (and faster than I thought). In short, it consists of using "git subtree" to create a branch containing stuff from only one ...

Re: Heavy repository
* git clone can not be interrupted. If it is, you need to restart. * my connection had problems, or I needed it for something else at some point. Not saying that your complaints aren’t legitimate, and I can understand your ordeal as a mobile broadband user myself, but if you had asked around first,...
