7-3 melee? That could be good. I'll have to try it out. But, 9-2 -> 8-3 on ranged?
Noyga: Shaman->Druid and Shaman->Sorceress also have that problem. it was an oversight on my part that I will fail to correct due to sleepyness.

I have a question regarding RIPLIB:
Just say unit A can advance to either B or C.
B is a general improvement on all stats (except moves).
C however, while having improved HitPoints, has a (debatably) weaker attack with a different damage type.
Am I correct in saying this is acceptable? Because if the player wishes to keep the damage type of A, then she/he chooses to advance to B. But if the player wants to have the new damage type, she/he chooses C.
The question: does this set-up violate RIPLIB?

How does rule 1a and the Mages violating RIPLIB go together?Elvish Pillager wrote: 1a) A significant decrease in either the number of swings or amount of damage. If the decrease is very slight (e.g. 7-4 -> 6-6) then it can generally be ignored, but if an attack goes from 8-3 to 3-15, it is a problem.

Mage(Red Mage-less damage per ranged strike during Day, White Mage-less damage per ranged strike)
White Mage (Mage of Light-Illuminates)
*Mermaid Priestess (Mermaid Diviner-Illuminates)
Why is the Mermaid Priestess only a minor violation and the White Mage not?

What? All Mage upgrades lose 2 damage per ranged strike in the Daytime. I think. In any case, I've found it rather noticeable.Soliton wrote:How does rule 1a and the Mages violating RIPLIB go together?
Mermaid Priestesses are not used anywhere. (Or at least, hardly anywhere)Soliton wrote:Why is the Mermaid Priestess only a minor violation and the White Mage not?
