The setup files for windows worked for me without a problem. Maybe your download was corrupted.

Small bug!

Untranslatable message in wesnoth-httt campaign: "We have heard only the worst things about this place, my lord. It is s..."

We have a 100% completed translation of wesnoth-httt, but this message only in english.

You might try decompressing 7z file and compressing it back again with gzip (you need to tar it first). It might work. It might not - it depends on (among other things) whether your tar.gz is same as the one from wesnoth site (tip - it should work if 7z contains all the files that are in .tgz release)

I've just uploaded to Sourceforge the XDelta file for Windows.
Take into account that this file is an xdelta for 0.9.7 from 0.9.6a, not 0.9.6.

little faults at the dutch version

there are some little mistakes in the dutch version for mac os x
but its just in the language work
(laten should be later etc)
what doesn't kills me, makes me stronger!!!
playing since 0.9.4
