Orc theme

Post by Ardonik »

Hi, Aleksi.

The theme I heard was only 40 seconds long, but what I heard, I liked. Personally, I think it would be neat to have a quiet snare drum solo begin after the "evil horns" take a break around 0:00:29 into the song, with a slow crescendo into whatever the next section will be. But I'd like to hear the complete theme no matter where you take it!

Edit: I can't believe I misspelled his name. I mean, it was right there....

This sounds great, to bad it ends right on the moment I thought it was going to start for real :D

sounds a little expressionistic to me, without the lots of weird stuff ( stravinski - style :D ) cant wait to hear what will follow.

How about some male vocals when the evil horns (:09) start up?
Hope springs eternal.

Hum, not necessary to charge up too much at start. Anyway i don't have any worth using voice sounds yet. I should purchase an amazing one this summer. Hopefully...

Its coming up! I had my last test for the year one day ago, followed by a big hangover... ;)
Now i'll dedicate much more time to Wesnoth during this period. I'll surely update something at the end of the week.

Cheers,

Aleksi.

I second this, but it does sound good!

the only problem with this is that it will seem to "good" (or different) to fit in, but this style is very warcraft like, and would fit great if this kind of music was adopted for the whole game....

and im srry if any inconveinence was caused if im bumping an old topic...

Actually, you're right. This is the quality we want for the whole game. Just give us lots of time. It'll be good when it's done. =)
