Maybe a unit would be able to steal some gold from enemy units? Not to much, maybe 2 or 3 gold. And bonus if steal from enemy leader

good idea perhaps stolen gold egual lvl of the unit (X2 for leaders)

really do you can imagine steal in full battle?

Stealing?? Only in a castle. In a real battle (yes, I know, WINR...), soldiers don't go around carrying their team's money! The only thing that could be done, by a cheap and weak unit, is to steal money a ennemy unit would be carrying. Or something that's precious. But that wouldn't be the money used by the ennemy leader.
I don't think this idea is very interesting in standard Wesnoth.

Why you have to steal in a full battle? A stealing unit will steal from a unprepared unit, then run away.

I don't think this idea is very interesting in standard Wesnoth
I agree, soldiers not carry teams money, but still have some small amount of a gold. Also, why a unit need to steal only money? There are many other things that can be stealed.

I don't think that you will have lots of opportunities to use those stealing units to steal something else then money, then. Because, except special weapons, what could units take with themselves in Wesnoth?

MAybe they could stole some coins from the people who dies in the adjacent hexes.

Raid- gain gold when attacking(2goldxlvl of enemy unit)

i think 1g per unit lvl for each killed unit is better

How would it add to the game? which units will use it? An ability is far more likely to be implemented if:
A: it has purpose
B: a unit is ready to use it

This might be possible with WML, though I'm not sure.

My idea was to do with the race I made up which cost alot...
Well stealing should be given to really weak/cheap units so maybe like when ur cornered u can use them to partly suicide and get some money in return lol...
