Wesnoth 0.9 on Windows, job done.

Post by Wintifax »

Hi all!

Just wanted to tell everyone that I've succeeded in building wesnoth 0.9 on windows xp, visual studio 7.1 (2003.Net). It's rather late here, so I won't post a project file or instructions yet... be prepared to find them here tomorrow.
Btw, I did try it with devcpp/mingw and succeeded in building the .exe as well, but it didn't run (same settings as in vs)... Didn't investigate further into this, but it might be a problem with oudated libraries... just in case someone was wondering :)

Greetings,

Are you okay?? Did you find problems with the 9.0 version??

Thanks wintifax!

Still works with 0.9.1. You just have to add checksum.cpp and .hpp to the projects.

I would like to ask you guys, if you could use mine script for patchmaking?

It is attached in Coder's forum and it is small python program.

I would like if someone could test it on 0.9.1a and 0.9.1b versions, and ofcourse, when 0.9.2 comes out :)
