It looks better, but you should change the pose of the feet too, not just of the upper body.Disto wrote:Slight fix to the scorcher...

Don't be. There have been nights when I've sat down and made fifty such images, with nary a comment on what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong, as far as technique goes. One of the problems that people like me, Neo, and Francisco run into is - who do we go to when we're not sure how to do something?Disto wrote:No it isn't, i was just shocked from how long ago i had got a comment and how much i had done.
Who does Dave go to when he's not sure how to code something?
The answer to that question is what makes true coders (or hackers, as they used to be called before the word got criminal connotations) really powerful. They figure out how to teach themselves anything, and how to determine whether what they're doing is right or wrong. Because they don't have someone higher-up to go and ask questions to.
I wish I did - [censored], I wish I could just sit and watch when someone like Craig Mullins paints a picture. But I can't. He doesn't have a damn clue who I am, and even if I get as good as he is, I doubt he would then. Compared to the people who are really good, I'm nobody. The days of apprenticeship have faded into oblivion, and now people like me must fight alone (not to mention, unlike being an apprentice, I can't afford to devote my whole life to art. I have several completely unrelated things that I have to be learning with just as much fervor).
The situation of when we, the people who others always go for answers, need answers of our own reminds me of the old passage from the bible (paraphrased for clarity): "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost it's savour, what will you put on it to make it salty?"
The skill of knowing how to figure out things on your own is beyond question, the most valuable skill you will ever acquire in your life, short of breathing, maybe. Developing this skill early and well, will multiply the speed at which you learn later. I am only beginning to master it, and I can by no means teach it. Yet.
Now, of course, I'm still happy to help and give advice, and I will, but I want you be aware of that important lesson.
No pressures.. Just do them when you feel like it.Disto wrote:You may of noticed i haven't done anything for a little while mainly as i'm busy at school, soon i will get back to it.

Yep, mullet is the one thing that keeps the eath moving. It`s also the source of McGyvers awesomeness.Ankka wrote:Great, the crusher has a mullet!
