Battle for Westfront *WW2 Era in Early Period of War*

What will I do?

My goal is to create a full World War 2 era in the early war period, with factions like the German Reich, Poland, France, Italy etc. with different strengths and weaknesses.
Every faction will get unique units with their own special profiles, look and upgradepossibility.
You command Infanty, Artillery, Tanks, Vehicles and Airplanes.

After I finished this Era, a campaign and Mappack will follow.

What will you get?

A nearly complete multiplayer-era with:
- 4 Factions
- Over 40 units
- complete idle-, death-, and shooting animation for every single unit
- 20 new sounds
- new symbols
and much more in the future!

The sprites look good, the Panzerkampfwagen III especially. Though the schutze's right shoulder looks funny. And the MG-34 Schutze looks like he's wearing a wig. (yes, I realize it's an ammo belt)

So, were you planning on creating a modern era?

What happened to the Japanese and the Italians? Not to mention the US...and the inclusion of the Finns is intriguing. They certainly had an interesting predicament before and after the war.

its a lot of work for me. With "Battle for Westfront" I want to create a era primary for early war in europe. The americans joined later.

The MG gunner's ammo belt that drapes around his neck looks like a wig draping from his helmet. If you darkened it's color it wouldn't, I think.

And ignore the shoulder, it looks fine upon second look.

You might want to look through the forums for some inspiration-many before you have tried and failed with WW2 eras! The art workshop is full of artwork from failed, or unported WW2 add-ons. You might even want to use some of them, or at least draw inspiration. tanks are very popular- here's my favourite by Major:

Thanks for your link and the advice. Ive seen a lot of these dead ww2 eras here... Hope I can finish my one! I want to create my own models and dont steal or borrow them from other projects.

I only posted it in case you wanted to take some inspiration from it, or learn from its style. Major's old art thread has loads of these WW2 sprites. Also, the art should probably go in the Art Workshop thread. BtW, Italians has an "a" in it .
