NO, that would be the level 1 giant mudcrawler, not the level 0 mudcrawler.

Now all he needs is a soliloquy:

I am a giant mudcrawler
Made of splintered granite
With dust and peat and loamy soil
And eyes of pomegranate

I must seem strange to one like you
You surely do to me
Let's have a war, and he who lives
Shall write the history!
“It is written in my life-blood, such as that is, thick or thin; and I can no other.” - J.R.R. Tolkien

My campaign: Swamplings - Four centuries before the founding of Wesnoth, the first wolf rider emerges from a tribe of lowly swamp goblins.

Oh my, too many comments to reply in detail... So just the on black version.
Generally he is supposed to represent the L1 Giant mudcrawler, but he'll have to do for the L0 for now, too.

Eternal: That's awesome!
boru:  Thanks!

Holy crap I just realized this means Eternal's still alive and kicking. Maybe we'll see a fire dragon update soon!

Time to start taking care of the small campaigns... Let's start with AoI's Erlornas:

The line forming his chin seems a bit harsh - it should probably taper off a bit more, or join up with the one delineating his jaw. Also, what's the material for the armour? I thought the elves didn't use metal much.

Thanks for noticing - the chin was sloppy. Should be fixed now.

For the material, I intended it to be shiny polished leather, should be moldable in any shape...

Also, the tip of the sword looks kind of twisted - the fuller goes right up the centre, but then the line bends over.

his left hand looks not finished?
I don't see any problems with an elf-woman hitting somebody with a mace...

In addition to the hand problem (which I think is caused by the lines not clearily showing which hand overlaps the other) :
- the hair line looks like his face is seen slightly from above whereas the perspective on the face looks more vertical
- the volumes of the armour outline a very, very slender ribcage, especially on the (our) right side

To me the armour looks more like enameled metal than leather, but it looks good anyway.

It looks weird that his left shoulder is so much lower than the right one. It's not an impossible position, but when one tilts the shoulderline, it's natural to also bend the torso, yet his torso is completely vertical and stiff.

The sword is also conspicuously blue, considering he's wearing lots of reflective stuff, none of which shows any bluish reflections.

The characterisation and gear look very good, he's a dandy, yet dangerous.

Thanks for the crits!
I changed the angle of his head slightly, took the blue out of the blade and re-shaded the hands. He is finished for now.

Next one is a scout appearing in the first and last scenario of AoI:

I'm not sure about the scout's perspective. While technically not wrong, it puts lot of focus on the horse, with its head covering so much of the canvas. I think a more isometric perspective would work better, as is usually the case with the portraits of mounted units.
