Woodmouse's art stuff [random stuff, page 49]

Post by woodmouse »

Here I put all of my sprites. Well, those that have no "theme" in them. Anyway, here are some sprites I frankied: (I say frankied because it's easier to write...)

There's only four, but I make more. Comments for these? Are they good frankies?

EDIT:
Some more recent stuff in this first post too... So people are interested easier. Just check the later pages for more recent stuff.

That poor, poor wolf. The nagoctopus thing looks pretty cool, though =)

They're pretty good quality frankensteins. Nice work.

Three new sprites, the first one is recolor of Death Knight with a mace (from a frankenpack), the second and third ones are frankies. Comments for these?

The first one looks sorta human, it could be some evil human macineer (made that word up :lol2: )
the 3rd would be a very good angry peasant villager/mob member.

I like.

Thanks! Oh, and the Knight thing was meant to be a living variation of Death Knight. :lol2: Well, here are some more:

The first one is recolored and has a club instead of a sword, as you see. And the second one, well, a true frankie. :lol2: What do you people like?

Glad to hear you like them, and I made some more:

The first one is edited Dwarvish Dragonguard, and the second one is the same, but with arm and weapon of dwarvish berserker. The bazooka doesn't look like I planned, but well. What do you think?

You're pillow shading. That is to say, you're shading so that the brightest part of all the object is the bit that's closest to camera, and the darkest is furthest away. This is not how shading works. Take a look at this tutorial, it should be very helpful.

Also, your metals have not got enough contrast. The highlights should be white, or very close to it.

Hmmm. Has anyone any ideas for sprites? I am not going to make anything from scratch, though... I make frankies and edit them, or edit original sprites. I ask for ideas, because I have no ideas myself now...
