New Forum new luck I guess.

Done for coloring and test pruposes. The result is that my linework looks good as long as you don't try to color it. :|

Next try.

Something is missing on the lips. Seems to be erased. :hmm:

Also it would been a slightly better image if there were mroe detail and expression on the face itself, such as wrinkles and maybe shadows on one side of the face to show that sunlight was present. I would call this piece "the broken man". Anyone care to come up with a better name?

@cool evi
It really delights me that you actual choose these name. It means that I actual did something right. :D

It is a early concept for something I want to draw for a while. I didn't work out the way I wanted so I tried to use it as coloring sketch.
Didn't work either yet it is nice to know that it creates the impression I wanted to have.

Out of curiosity, on what kind of surface is the paper lying on? I see many diagonal stripes that look like if you were drawing on a textured paper, or drawing on a normal paper that was lying on a textured surface.

The diagonal stripes look computer-generated to me.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

As EP said everything is computer generated. I posted a link somewhere in Art Contributions with an instruction how to do it.

For some reason I don't remember, Jetryl linked to this in an earlier thread to mention how the fairy was drawn. Maybe the subject was how odd it was to draw certain female monsters wearing clothes? And this was an alternative method of preserving decency...

Anyways, I found this related strip a bit amusing: http://www.errantstory.com/comic.php?date=2008-05-08

It's the one and only art thread where people get to post sketches, drawings, sprites, etc that are completely unrelated to Wesnoth to show off, get critique, give critique and in general admire the Wesnoth artists when they are betraying the one and only cause ;)

I dunno. That mushroom doesn't look particularly perturbed to me - it looks disinterested rather than conquered. :)
