Wesnoth 1.1.13 (aka Wesnoth 1.2rc3)

Post by isaac »

Wesnoth 1.1.13 is out!

1.1.13 is our third release candidate for the forthcoming 1.2 release.

1.1.13 has several important bugfixes, updated translations and lots of new graphics.

You can check details at the changelog.

Downloads:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... z?download
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... 5?download
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... g?download

You can get the XDelta between 1.1.12 and 1.1.13 source code:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... 113.xdelta

Check http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7034 for info on using xdelta.

As a fallback you can also get files from
http://files.wesnoth.org/ - you should first try to get files
through SourceForge to help us save bandwidth.

devsrv.wesnoth.org:14999 is ready to be used for multiplayer games

Instructions for bug reporting can be found at
http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/ReportingBugs

Windows binary is already available at:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... e?download

Packages for Debian will be available soon and the MacOS X packager has already been notified.

Enjoy!

What about Ubuntu?

Is there any way to update with Ubuntu using repositories?
The last version at Ubuntu ones are 1.1.8-1. I think is Ubuntu policy, so maybe need to ask ubuntu to include the last version.

Ah, the ever returning questions... ubuntu users can use the debian packages just fine and 1.2 will be released once Jetryl's list of missing art updates is empty which should be soon.

Maybe renaming the "debian packages" to "debian/ubuntu packages" could prevent some of the questions? ;-)

Wow, great changelog ! Thanks for the release and the windows binaries... Even though i shouldn't thank you, given how this release will limit my productivity in the near future... ;)

Great to hear about Debian package!

Debian 4.0 "etch" is told to be released this December. One hopes to find AMD64 binaries of Wesnoth 1.2 in it!

I can probably speak for all the developers in saying this:
Whining that releases don't come fast enough is not especially motivating.
Feel free to PM me if you start a new terrain oriented thread. It's easy for me to miss them among all the other art threads.

Besides, it doesn't really matter when 1.2 comes out, since the current releases are basically identical to it anyway (minus some coming bugfixes perhaps).

great, another release!

I love you guys.

It is pure fun to play the campaigns again and look out for the changes (I bet, I will find some stuff I like - and some I don't, like every time).

And no, that is no joke nor is it mean ironic or sarcastic. I am serious. I can't get enough releases ;)
