Wesnoth 1.1.12 (aka 1.2rc2)

Post by isaac »

Wesnoth 1.1.12 is out!

1.1.12 is our second release candidate for the forthcoming 1.2 release. One more step towards 1.2!

1.1.12 contains lots of bugfixes and also new graphics (trolls, atack icons, ...) , revised multiplayer maps, updated translations, ...

You can check details at the changelog.

Downloads:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... z?download

As a fallback you can also get files from
http://files.wesnoth.org/ - you should first try to get files
through SourceForge to help us save bandwidth.

devsrv.wesnoth.org:14999 is ready to be used for multiplayer games

Instructions for bug reporting can be found at
http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/ReportingBugs

Packages for Debian are ready and available at Debian mirrors and the Windows and Mac OS X packagers have already been notified.

An unofficial ebuild is also available:

Enjoy!

And it was awesome that the Debian packages were available so early! Even before the official announcement!
Don't go to Glowing Fish for advice, he will say both yes and no.

It says 1.1.12 on the home page, but when you click on it to download it only has 1.1.11 versions for download...

Mac OS X binaries (universal binary, for OSX >= 10.3.9)

Full (game, editor) 72Mb:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... g?download

Lite (game only without the music and large image arts) 43Mb:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... g?download

For the first time, I've compiled it using Xcode 2.4.1.

Thanks!

Now, Maybe if I got "yum install wesnoth whatsit" to work, I could get the releases quicker. But, I got 4+ Wesnoth Windows Computers and only 1 Linux/Windows Dual Boot. No big loss... :)
