Hey, important note. I suggest having everyone there by X time including alternates for first round. If you are 20 mins late an alternate takes your place? This sound reasonable? And it will give alternates incentive to be there in case we need them?

Must be kidding... playing Wesnoth at 4am... I'd doubt I would even be able make it to watch some games.

But it's on Saturday, so unless you need to get up real early Sunday, there shouldn't be a problem.

Or you could just hit the sack real early and get up at 3am, that's what I'm gonna do.

After watching those games, I'll have to get to work by 9am...

Hm, i dunno if its best idea to draw whole tree. I would have randomized next matches as well, but its got the style this way you do it, so i dont mind leaving it this way. ;-P

BTW, what about everyone making their guesses for results of all matches?

I thin next round will be:

???
???
Dragonking
???
Becephalus
JW
Mythological
Soliton
.
Then:

???
Dragonking
Becephalus
Soliton

Then:

Dragonking
Soliton

My bet fro the winner is Soliton.

Now, i dont know you guys well, so probably i under or over estimated someone.

I propose that I battle Suvorov, who was also on the waitlist, for the right to compete in the tourney.

EDIT: Or anyone else.

The reason why hes on roster, is that he reacted first to the information of the tournament.

not symmetrical?

Post by Wintermute »

Is the map indended to be slightly different for any balance purposes?

I note that 9,21 is a mountian, and the opposite hex is a hill, and also forest in 23,13 has drifted a hex on the opposite side of the map.

Also, 5,8 and 5,11 are not road, but 5,9 is, all of which are opposite on the other side of the map.

Obviously none of these is very important (maybe forest would have some minor effect on play), but I figured that I would mention my observations, and pass them on FYI.

See you all tomorrow!

What do you know, the majority of the big players one.

I wouldn't have doubted that, I just upset that I woke up about 1 hour too late to see what happened
