GMT=greenwish mean time. Another more simple link I think http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/gmt-converter.htm just click on your location on the right links on the page.
What about the turn limits and time limits ?

And the earth shakes as another Older God enters the tournament!!!Dragonking wrote:Hmm... Is there still place for me?
Sorry Koles, but it looks like DK beat you to the final slot by 3 minutes.
I have a few on this list that are not completely sure of their availability, so I'll have you as first in line to join should any of them drop out.
I will not tell you my corner / where threads don't get locked because of mostly no reason /
because I don't want your hostile disease / to spread all over the world.
I prefer that corner to remain hidden /
without your noses. -Nosebane, Sorcerer Supreme

If the waiting list reeaches somewhere between 8 and 16, you should think of adding elimination round, instead of just disallowing them to play.

Probably there's no point for me posting here, but i'll raise my PC to 1337 before leaving again ;P -- just kidding.

I have an actual question(s) now!
Turn limit? Will it be the usual 50 or infinite?
Time limits? Either in total if there's no turn limit or will there be time limits for each turn? Or will this be dicided by player 1?
Will players be paired randomly or paired by Doc so they are "equal" skill levels?

I think there should be no turn limit, and i dont have any idea about time limits.

I wont join, but through observation I hope I'll learn.
If I was to join, I'd just be holding a spot for someone better--I'm not incredible, and am only so-so when I use undead (and always use random so that I'll get better at using what I'm given).
So I'll be there to watch, barring cruel and unusual amounts of homework.

Think numbers in a username is wierd? Think maybe I should've gone for something original? I was thinking maybe Terevet, but if someone knew me elsewhere they wouldn't recognize me then
Terevet is my MP name however.

Yeah. Noy's real power lies in the manipulation of alliances. He can't do that in 1v1.Noy wrote:jb wrote:With an event like this you'd think Noy would have the courage to break his non-1v1 rule and sign up. I'm sure he'll make the usual excuses for not playing, but we all know he secretly wants in.
Ummm No?
****** alcoholics.
(well, at least it's hard to convince your opponent to ally against himself)
You are wrong. I won about 3 1v1's (and its only for Wesnoth, and i was playing many 1v1s in other games) by convincing rival to a ceasefire or something. That will not happen on a tournament tough.
Eh, diplomacy is my god side, i guess, but it will not work here.

No.... I missed out on entry
I'll sign up for the waiting list, and I wanted to see how I'd fare, after losing to Bece so many times I must be getting better (first person I played after 3 months of no wesnoth, you can guess how that went )
This huge clash would be horrible not to miss.
Actually, now that I think of it, this would start 4 am Saturdays for me , considering I am GMT +10
