Wesnoth 1.1.5
Wesnoth 1.1.5 is out!
Lots of bugs have been squashed in the last days, so this release should be much nicer to play than the previous ones.
In addition, there are a big number of new attack icons, and lots of other little improvements.
This release marks a "soft" string freeze, meaning that only changes to fix typos are allowed in strings, so translators can start working hard to get complete translations for 1.2.
Your bug reports are more needed than ever, so be sure to carefully report the bugs you find.
You can check details at the changelog.
Downloads:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... z?download
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... 5?download
You can get the XDelta between 1.1.4 and 1.1.5 source code:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... rce.xdelta
Check http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7034 for info on using xdelta.
As a fallback you can also get files from
http://files.wesnoth.org/ - you should first try to get files
through SourceForge to help us save bandwidth.
devsrv.wesnoth.org:14999 will soon be ready to be used for multiplayer games
Instructions for bug reporting can be found -
http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/ReportingBugs
Debian packages are ready. The rest of the packages will be available soon.

Does 1.1.5 include rev 11983 and lower?
Edit: it looks like 11978 was the cutoff. Curses!

I guess the compiled binaries will take a while to come out? Below is the link to my first attempt at compiling it for a mac. I couldn't get universal binary because my SDL libraries are PPC only.

Tested it with one multiplayer game... seems to run ok, only a bit slow...

windows binaries available:

Because of performance checking we tried to use two different compilers to see which one does the better job. Unfortunately one of them still seems to cause some "anomalies". I will update you if it is available.
