Wesnoth 1.1.4

Post by isaac »

Wesnoth 1.1.4 is out!

As you have discovered, Wesnoth 1.1.3 wasn't a nice release, but it was really good at exposing lots of bugs that had to be fixed before aiming for the new stable release, which is a good thing after all :)

In this release, the most annoying bugs have been fixed, including the AI slowdown, and Wesnoth should be enjoyable again ;)

Your bug reports are still needed, so be sure to carefully report the bugs you find.

You can check details at the changelog.

Downloads:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... z?download
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... 5?download

You can get the XDelta between 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 source code:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... rce.xdelta

Check http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7034 for info on using xdelta.

As a fallback you can also get files from
http://files.wesnoth.org/ - you should first try to get files
through SourceForge to help us save bandwidth.

devsrv.wesnoth.org:14999 will soon be ready to be used for multiplayer games

Instructions for bug reporting can be found -
http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/ReportingBugs

Debian packages are ready and will be available at mirrors tomorrow. The rest of the packages will be available soon.

[EDIT] Fixed the path to the xdelta. [/EDIT]

In the Windows build, it appears to me that the file "python23.dll" in the main folder is supposed to be named "python24.dll". Is this correct?

Arrgh, forgot a DLL again (python24.dll). :?

Just rename python23.dll into python24.dll and you should be fine.

Sorry.

1.1.3 has python24.dll. I can't upload it because it is too big (even zipped), but if you still have 1.1.3 you can just copy it.

Well I downloaded the installer, but whenever I try running it, it tells me: "Error: Acces violation at 004096DA. Write of address 00401000". Does anyone know what the heck is going on (yes, I've tried downloading it again many times)? Thanks for any help.
