Unit needed

Post by Burnsaber »

So for those who had no idea, i`m making a campaign. It tells the story of a mercenary named Laedos. But, i need some unit images for the first scenario.

In the first scenario you must train your troops against "training dolls". You know, those things in medieval that hit you if you attacked in a wrong angle. I`ll only need standing and defense (propably spinning around fast) frame.

Also i need someones to train. I`m using the image beneath as these buggers that you have to train. As you can see, it`s not that hot. Would someone mind improving them?

Who is going to be in the mercenary army? Marauders? Or official units?

Both. I can`t tell why without spoling storyline.

Yes, they`re level 0, and just looks just wimpy enough, without looking too wimpy (*cough* peasant *cough*)

Doesn't it have to much armour, a spearman has the same or even less and that is a level 0.

It`s much more smaller and looks more wimpy, at least i see it as level 0.

What i need is that doll and attack & defense images for the fresh recruit

Proposed dummy

How about this ?

If it suits you, I make the frames for dummy-defend.

Cheers,

Good, but too big.

This might also be good décor for human castles.

The art's good, but its not really in the "wesnoth style." The shading looks off compared to real units, and the black lines are too thick.

Shrink him about 10-15%. Pretty good, though.

Shrunk and new shield

Post by meniou »

Hmmm, getting quite tiny now. I changed the shield pattern to avoid a bar being in line with the arms.

Thank you! One more name for my "credits" list. Would mind to make "attack" frame for it?
