A dwarfes axe
I´ve improved my old Runemaster and know I´ll repost the final Axethrower
which has some similarities to the old ones (http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/viewtopic. ... c&start=75)
but I hope more improvements

Very nice images!
Although the handle of the level 2's right-hand (or left) axe is almost invisible.

It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.
Good things:
The axes look really, really cool, this time around. They are as good as any weapon I have ever made, if not better.
The stances on level-2 and 3 are good.
Bad things:
The body shape of level-1 is off. He needs to be more swarthy - he looks more like a bearded hobbit, than a dwarf.
The hair/head needs, not necessarily "shading", but some minor line correction, and some shape work.
I'll see what I can do to touch these up. Note that I might not get around to it till this weekend.
I want to see this unit in game.
All told, very cool. Great work.

The axes do look cool though again the dark colors in the torso blend together making it hard for be to distinguish his clothes from his weapon from his legs.
What kind of a unit is the axethrower supposed to be? A scout? I haven't heard of it before.

I´ll make some changes it was one of my first images (now it´s the seventh revision) and it was supposed to be something like a scout.
The original can be found (as mentioned above) somewhere here with some other more or less good stuff

The axes do look pretty cool. With some more revisions this could be a neat looking dwarvish scout unit.

Jetryl's already said everything I would say about the images, so I guess I'll just reiterate: Cool axes!
I'd love to see these images polished up and in the game. Removing the last of the Outlaws from the Knalgans and making them a truly dwarvish faction should be cool.

If the torch was drawn right that might look good. I suppose he would have to have a fire attack then? I don't want this unit becoming too powerful. But a medium strength axe attack and a weak (7-1 or 5-2) fire attack might work.

Torch? Why? It looks fine as it is. He would kinda lame scout if he always got caught by the enemy because of his torch.
P.S; it is Dwarves not Dwarfes

Well sometimes I hate my english knowledge but well
Cough he has done some good other stuff before but I haven´t seen a Axethrower from disto yetBurnsaber wrote:Dwarven explorer seems like a good name to me. We could probably use Disto`s dwarvish axethrower images. They would fit perfectly.
