I think that the form of magic thing that the shaman is using is very orcish, not really electric or fire but more of a mix however, I think it's a little to pink. Adding some more red , I think, could go a long way.

It might be a little too bright. I'll fiddle with it some tomorrow.

EDIT: or, y'know, this evening.

Also, flats and lines for jetto. Needs more line weight variation, but that goes in later, as usual. mostly wanting input on whether the armour looks right (i'm aiming for a leather scale mail dealy) and whether the anatomy's right.

Busy now, but I'll post a few mentions about both of them in a while, I hope you haven't started shading Jetto yet.

Inarix looks great, I'll be adding him in shortly. The shaman is good too, but I'll wait until you say it's final. Although it looks like the part of the magic glow that covers the back of his right palm should rather be on the other side of the hand.

As for Jetto, I have no other suggestions besides making the darts bigger. They're now about the size of a pen, whereas I'd imagine orcish assassins to use much bigger and bulkier darts, more like the size of real throwing knives. If you really want to keep them rather small, I'd then suggest making him hold a nice handful of them instead. Maybe it's not really a major issue but I don't really see orcish assassins as using their darts as delicate and precise instruments, so that pretty much leaves the option of either having bigger knives or lots of small ones (you know, throw half a dozen and hope one hits).

He is holding another one too in the sketch.

As for the flats and the lines, Jetto seems to be good except for the face (and the missing knife, unless it was intentionally removed). He could look a lot less menacing if you modified the brows a little and made the eyes narrow more from the lower than the higher lids. I also just noticed the belt's quite high up. my bad.

Didn't include the eyelid-suggestion in this one.

The shaman's neck still seems a little thick. I know this might take some of the age-impression away, but maybe it'd be better with an even narrower neck. maybe lighten the lines on the back of the robe too? They're a little dark compared to the edge of the clothing.

Otherwise, good work. We're almost done.

hmm, the flames for the elder are pretty cool. but that flame on the right side of his right hand looks out of place. i cant really explain it.

Well, I'm assuming that's his melee knife.

I'll have a look into the stuff mentioned some time tonight.

EDIT: or, y'know, this morning. Reworked lines for Jetto (changed the positions of both hands a lot, altered the line of the cloak, much bigger throwing knives etc etc etc.). Not looked at the brows, though, I kind of forgot. I'm just about to sort the issues mentioned with the shaman, will append to this post when I do, along with fixes to the eyebrows of Jetto.

RE-EDIT: fixes applied to Jetto and Elder Shaman. I call Elder Shaman finished at this point. As such, he's appended to the first post.

Those are spearheads, not throwing knives  I think they should still remain smaller than the melee knife. Sides, they're a bit asymmetric. Other than that, it looks ready for shading.

And I agree, the shaman seems ready.

Too big this time? No pleasing you people =P

The asymmetry is not on purpose. Just the vagaries of my line work. I'll actually remember to update the first post now...

Yeah, i know - I wasn't quite sure, so I went this time with a bigger is better principle...

EDIT: shading.

Kept the colours fairly muted, and not too saturated - he is supposed to be an assassin after all - but decided to forego taking the shine of the weapons, simply so that there would be at least some visual interest. Finally, moved him back in the frame to give him a furtive air.

Unless there are any issues, I call him finished. I'll add him to the first post tomorrow, assuming noone raises any troubles.
