On what version did you first play Wesnoth?

1.4.1 - Stepped upon it just a week ago, already promoting it to friends and neighbours, like it very much, thank god for this game, played through heir to throne, nice campaign, only lack of tactical behaviour on the enemy side (no healers, very stupid use of resting), over and out

1.2, about a year ago, give or take (disregard my vote, I somehow voted for 1.4 .) But I shortly stopped for lack of anyone to play it with, and only recently took it back up with 1.4; I'm still getting used to it again; and hopefully this time the people I play with won't quit or disappear

first time I played wesnoth it was version 0.8.8.. I dont know why, I didnt downloadeds it from here, so I didn´t redownload until version 1.3

I played wesnoth for the first time 5 years ago. But after one day I stopped. A year later I started again, and now I'm still playing Wesnoth (The best free game that can be played on Linux!!!(and Mac and Wind))
And I joined the forum a year ago...

1.1 was the beginning of my wesnoth "career" (for lack of a better word/FLOABW?). Basically everything has changed, and most of it for the better. I remember the old HttT campaign, and the old troll graphics with a certain fondness. But not too much.

For those struggling to remember why this version was so popular, it was released on something called 'Open CD'. This got around many places very quickly and Wesnoth tripled its population in just a few months.
I still download every new version when it comes out even if I don't have time to play it before the next one!
