Gonna post an unpopular opinion...

I don't like Isar's Cross. Not even a little bit. I find it dull and badly setup for a good game.

Well idk about the dull part but the badly setup part is certainly an exaggeration. There's room for water units, undead, dwarves, you name it whatever you wish can be accomplished. Ofc, you are not obliged to play it, try some pvp games instead.

[Krogen]

It has its pros and cons.
It's badly balanced and has lots of ways to abuse that.
On the other hand it's not as time consuming as other maps and relatively easy to learn. It's good casual fun, as long as it's not taken too seriously.
If you want to test your skills, go elsewhere. If you just want a fun, short match after a long day, Isar is the map for you.

Not sure if the map has changed but the video-map is indeed a bit stacked closely.

It may help if you could give some more specific complaints about what isn't great.
