New fan reporting in!

Post by PizzaFromLastWeek »

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to stop by and thank the developers for this great game. :)
I'm one of those oldschool gamers, biggest title of my childhood was The Settlers 2 Gold Edition (the original old win95 version - multiplayer was only possible with a 2nd keyboard and mouse plugged into the machine!)

Started playing this game last year and oh joy was that a fun time. Suddenly I had to format my machine and forgot the name of this great game.
A friend reminded me of the name and now I'm back again. Playing it when my work (freelance, working at home) is done, mostly nights when everything is calm and I can enjoy it. :)

Thanks again dear developers. Please never ever let this game die.

P.S.: I still have my original The Settlers 2 Gold Edition (German, mint status) staying in my shelf. ;)

Cheers!
-- a huge fan of your work

Welcome back!

BTW if you like Settlers2, you should check out Widelands if you haven't already https://wl.widelands.org/

Looks good, but I think I prefer the Original The Settlers 2 Gold Edition. ;)
Maybe I'll take a look at it on another time anyway. :) So thanks for the link
