Im really happy to have joined wesnoths forum cause it has definitely changed a lot!

So many things to catch up on, and so little time!

Sorry if you happened to expect something else but i had such a buzz playing for the first time in YEARS that i just had to come on and congratulate the developers on making SUCH A GREAT GAME.

Well everything wasnt soooo nice and dandy, my first game was against some french players who were absolutely comical! [but i cant say anything cause i died in 3 turns D:]

But the second time i played multiplayer i met some very friendly people! [Cept i was casually called a 80 year old pedo, which probably cause i come on too strong ><"

Still, it was a real good game and i learnt quite a bit!

MP ain't for the faint of heart... it's quite a bit different playing real people vs. the AI.

Welcome to the forums, BTW. May your stay be long and productive. And I have to congratulate you... normally we have newbies storming in here and start trolling about how they RNG's messed up, the AI's cheating, the randomness makes no sense, etc. etc. You're one of the few that have come in and said what a great BfW is (and believe me, the community at large agrees with you there ).

Welcome to the Wesnoth community, kaorujin! It sounds like you're having plenty of fun already, but if you ever get bored, be sure to check out the Add-On server. Wesnoth is easy to modify, so people have created a whole host interesting campaigns and multiplayer eras to keep things lively. The Imperial Era and Era of Myths both seem to be fairly well balanced for multiplayer; I'd stay clear of the Ageless Era, which is very definitely not balanced.

While welcoming newcomers to the forum is laudable, I would suggest that grave-digging a 5-month old thread is not the best way to do so. To start with, someone isn't exactly a newcomer any more after 5 months...
