Northern Rebirth - The Pursuit 1.5
Hi,
One question, I play this campaign on hardest difficult. After winning "The pursuit" i've more than 12.000 gold. 1 Chest in the treasure room alone contained 10.000 Gold.
So my question is: Is this a bug or works as designed? I meand i start the next scenarion with around 10.000 gold and it seems to me rather easy now.

It is intended AFAIK.
In fact, later you will be rid of a substantial part of your gold reserves.

Ok found out, after the next scenario you start with only 100 gold. Without any reason the treasure is lost!

Did you read the dialogue between the scenarios? There's plenty of reason - the orc forces attacked Knalga and stole it.

I'm thinking of the wrong scenario - Hamel suggests that Tallin leave the gold behind for safe keeping in the scenario before it is stolen.
Nice work, Hamel(!)

I also played on hardest difficulty, but 100 gold and only 15 turns is grossly insufficient
to win in Settling Disputes. Plus, you need to keep Stalrag alive...
I have all loyal units alive and levelled 3 drarven lords. Even they take 7 turns to reach the river crossing on the east. Even if every turn they would kill an enemy and take no damage, the enemy still has enough forces to delay them for another good 8 rounds. Plus, some units must stay back to protect the prisoner and Stalrag. I only tried a couple of times, but it looks hopeless with 100 gold vs 1600 and 15 rounds. More rounds, maybe.
