I turn 19* on February.

Oh my gods, I feel old already. I look at 12-16 fellows and I... paargh, how can our society deteriorate so much! I've already been told a thousand times that I talk like a grandfather. :|

Agreed. Birth year would be a far better thing to poll...

Well, in that case 1995. Of course, mental maturity is a different matter…I constantly get the sensation of having to use baby talk with people around or sometimes above my age. Either that, or face isolation from all but the equally intelligent among my peers… (a group which IMO consists of >20 people)

Year of birth would be a better thing to poll in the actual poll on the page. Stating your age in a post is fine, since the date of posting is also recorded, which it isn't in the poll...

Born the year Fermat's Last Theorem was finally proven, on the day Douglas Adams died ;)

1993, actually--I was counting from Taylor and Wiles' actual proof, as opposed to Ribet's implication (The Tanimura-Shimura Conjecture had yet to be proven when Ribet did his work).
Though, because it took a full year for them work out the details, I suppose Taylor and Wiles didn't actually prove it until 1994...

Edit:
Wikipedia works nicely too ;)

Double edit:
@Zaphod: I find the same thing happens to me a lot, too, actually... Though, I'm enough of an introvert in that thing called "real life" that I don't usually have to interact with other people unless I'm at classes, and most of the people in my classes are Harvard undergrads, so they can almost always make intelligent conversation.

By the way, how's Trillian?

Ah ok, I always give it to Ribet because even though he technically only made the implication, he got the award and the credit for "solving" it as he was the one to finally crack how to do so, even if he did not actually do so.

Ah well, so I gave you 7 years of age, no big deal. :D

@Skizzaltix: Now I know four people who have read the series.
That's the benefit of being able to choose your classes. I can't do that yet (still in middle school), but my brother in high school is in honors classes whenever possible, and certainly enjoys it. I just feel like I have more to say than the interactions at my school provide. (Other than helping people with their homework)

True. I did, too.
But only once and I am no hardcore fan - so don't ask for details.

I turn 17 in January. (Quite the contrast to the age of nearly 14 when I started playing the game...)
