Moderator: Forum Moderators
I don't use windows, but i know three windows users who have just downloaded the xdelta, didn't know what to do with it, so downloaded the whole thing.isaac wrote:Done.Dave wrote: Anyhow, new, fixed version is here: http://www.wesnoth.org/files/wesnoth-0.9.6.exe
It'd be appreciated if someone could replicate to Sourceforge.
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wesn ... e?download (37.4MB)
I've also created an xdelta between 0.9.6 and this new version:

(883.15KB)
Best regards
That's not a bandwidth saving. Some sort of instruction would be very handy.
Here's some from this forum, that i searched too late:

I thank you for your work, of course, merely observing that the current effect might not be as useful as the intent.

Ubuntu packages
I made unofficial deb packages of Wesnoth for Ubuntu Hoary. They can be downloaded from http://eambrouwer.kabel.utwente.nl/file ... ubuntu.tar
This file is locate on my home server with only 256 kbs upstream, so be patient. If many people want to my packages I would like to upload them to a wesnoth server.

Re: Ubuntu packages
You should run gzip or (better if common on debian) bzip2 on you tarfile to compress it.Elvish Scientist wrote:I made unofficial deb packages of Wesnoth for Ubuntu Hoary. They can be downloaded from http://eambrouwer.kabel.utwente.nl/file ... ubuntu.tar

Use "-9" option for smaller result.

Re: Ubuntu packages
That does not make sense on debian packages: they are compressed.lwa wrote: You should run gzip or (better if common on debian) bzip2 on you tarfile to compress it.
